THIS is a continuation of the investigation at Mt Tamborine, something I forgot to mention.
As the evening was wrapping up, myself and the other two mediums performed healings on some of the participants in the dining room). Only a handful of us remained. One guest wasn’t feeling 100 per cent so went to the bathroom. Louise, the organiser, left to make sure she was okay. But she spotted something that couldn’t be easily explained.
Louise called out to us, asking where these ‘footprints’ came from? We headed off to see what was going on and when we got there, all stopped dead in our tracks. Before us lay perfectly formed ‘wet looking’ footprints, like someone had just stepped out of the ocean. Oddly there were no drips in-between. It looked like the person had been wearing wet socks because in some prints you could almost make out the outline of toes.
Someone shouted “look they go to the mirror”. We followed them from a mat just outside the dining room (where we’d been sitting) to a cupboard that had the same shape as an old grandfather clock, but where the clock face should be, there was a mirror. The prints turned neatly to face the mirror and then continued their circuit to face the way they had come and started back toward the dining room. We followed them to the starting point, a mat made from carpet, and they disappeared.
Brad, our tech guy, came over then (he’d been loading stuff into his car. He said he’d seen them earlier but didn’t know where they’d come from. Those leaving the Manor had been directed to leave via a particular door because the door at the end of the corridor, where the bathrooms are, was locked.
One of the guests wiped her finger through one of the footprints and remarked that it smelt like ‘wet socks’ which is odd because during the investigation, more than one person commented that they could smell ‘wet socks’.
It was then that the Manager dropped by to see what all the fuss was about. She confirmed that she was the only staff member left on duty and she hadn’t been out there. As far as I’m concerned this cannot be explained. But that’s just my opinion.
