Recently Paranormal Project got a call for assistance at a beautiful old house located in Manly West in the Redlands. The residents were experiencing unusual knocking sounds, footsteps, scratching at the walls etc. They also advised us they could hear the sound of children. One of the residents claimed the full weight of a person rolled over the top of him in whilst asleep. This was when they contacted us to see what was happening.
After our initial walk through and base readings were captured from the property we setup the cameras and attempted to communicate with what might be present.
From a technical perspective:
We put our new Technical Manager, Nadine to work tonight. With a bunch of new devices and cameras we were quick to set everything up after the initial walk through.
We setup the thermal camera initially in the kitchen then we moved it to the daughter’s bedroom where we picked up temperature fluctuations.
A full spectrum camera covered the dining room and the lounge as well as the front door. We also setup the night vision camera in the master bedroom. The motion detection image camera was setup in the lounge room. We also utilized the Ovilus, K2, Spirit box, laser grid and our Audio Olympus Recorder.
As far as evidence we did initially detect unusual activity on the camera filming the laser grid. This was in the daughter’s room in total darkness whilst we were investigating other areas of the house. The laser grid battery lasts well over an hour however it died within 20 min (strange but we don’t classify this as paranormal, simply unexplained) the camera also went in and out of focus multiple times. Whilst this has never happened before we were able to recreate this scenario off site, therefore debunked! The only part of this we haven’t been able to debunk was some scratching sounds right next to the camera which went for a total of approx 5 minutes. We still classify this as unexplained.
We take a series of photos with our digital camera with and without flash but mainly with our full spectrum camera. We do this to cross reference if we determine there to be any anomalies in photographs. Interestingly out of 50+ photos we did find something unusual with the below photograph. Due to the fact this was taken as a reference photo and the flash was on we cannot determine this to be paranormal. We have added points of interest and some of these can be explained. Review the image points 1 and 6 as these we feel are the most interesting anomalies in this picture. This was the only image of interest from the night.
At the time we did not realize we had caught the below EVP’s. During the walk through Michelle and Lynne had advised the rest of us that Lynne experienced a growl to “get out” whilst in the bathroom. Nadine immediately did an EVP session on her own in the bathroom where she captures a male voice saying what we believe “hello”. We recommend you listen with earphones and ignore the background talking as this was an unplanned EVP session
Later in the night we were all in the Kitchen with the Ovilus. Nadine had the audio recorder on with her earphones in. (In some instances, EVP’s can be heard as disembodied voices over recorder audio). She hears a loud inhale and was in sight of the team. No of the team mates inhaled like what she had heard. She immediately asks if anyone did inhale at the time she heard it. Is this paranormal? Perhaps, but for now we will list it as unexplained.
From a spiritual/psychic perspective:
We commenced in the kitchen where we both felt heavy in the chest. Michelle felt pressure on the left side of my head and they were both felt really confused. They connected with an elderly gentleman who used to live there when it was farmland. He gave Michelle the date of 1923.
Felt like he might have been making a cup of tea and had a cerebral hemorrhage – he died not understanding what was happening and why currently there are people in his house. He had a dog, who was his best friend (cattle dog). Lynne said his wife’s name was May.
Then we walked next door to the daughter’s bedroom – the energy in there was so dense. It was immediately hard to breath. We both felt really tired. Didn’t pick up spirits in there at that time.
Walked to spare room – energy lighter, not too bad.
We then made our way to the master bedroom and we felt like we were intruding but it was not a scary feeling. I felt like someone was trying to close the door but they didn’t have enough strength. Felt like older feminine energy.
Then we walked to the study – I started hearing a nursery rhyme repeating in my head. Couldn’t make out the words. It was like listening to a child singing off in the distance, a long long time ago.
Then we walked to the bathroom. Lynne stood toward the back – next to the shower – neither of us felt very welcome. Lynne heard a male voice growl ‘get out’! In her ear. Right before that my skin got covered in goosebumps, but it didn’t feel like the voice was connected to an actual spirit. We advised our techs to commence their investigation in the bathroom due to what we just experienced.
After a brief catch up with the team we walked out onto the deck and Lynne said she felt like the old man in the kitchen was following us. We started to feel the same symptoms as we had earlier. We were talking on the stairs and I could feel his eyes on us out of the kitchen window. We decided to go inside and see if we could capture any images of him on the thermal camera. I suddenly said to Lynne, ‘oh he’s saying he had grandkids’ and that he is a grandfather.
We started to communicate with him when Nadine handed me the Ovilus. We got stuff like farm, seeds, tree, crash, fingers, touch, bible, holy, pray, family, lost, all above ( we got the impression that he thought what we were doing was VooDoo, he was a non-believer in psychics. Due to that we put away the Ovilus and explained what we were going to do. He was pretty scared so we moved him on.
We returned to the daughter’s bedroom where we immediately felt like we wanted to go to sleep. Like being under a heavy wet blanket. Our arms felt so heavy, like lead. Our legs felt like lead too. Was like walking on the moon.
The thermal camera was aimed on the bed. Michelle walked over to feel the temp on the bed and there were patches that were freezing! Tabitha was looking through the camera and could see the fluctuations in temperature. We felt a little girl spirit. Michelle got ‘polio’ in her head and we both felt so drained and unable to concentrate. We feel her spirit all around us, then suddenly she leaves (we didn’t know at the time but this was at the same time Brad and Tabitha are doing an EVP session in the master bedroom).
Upon her return to the daughter’s bedroom we moved her on.
We also asked the negative entity we picked up earlier to leave.
Since our investigation the residents have had no further paranormal issues and the house has been quiet. They also hired a house detective to research into the history of the property and were able to confirm some information provided by Lynne and Michelle. Currently they are still awaiting on further information about the previous residents of the house.
